I was asked by one of my loyal readers to give my opinion on 3×09 – Stranger in a Strange Land. My review is in the comments section of the last post. For now I’m going to talk about another episode “House of the Rising Sun”, an early season 1 episode featuring a Jin/Sun flashback. I’ve been re-watching season 1 lately in my free time. In this episode we are first introduced to “Adam and Eve” in the caves and we also have our first real introduction of the time motif. Repeatedly Sun is asked what time she needs to leave the airport to meet the woman who will help her escape from Jin. 11:15, 11:15. When Charlie is asked how long since he’s played his guitar he responds, “8 days, and 11 hours.” Michael finds the watch Jin was supposed to deliver for Sun’s father, and ends up giving it back to him because “Time doesn’t matter on a damn island!” Once again, we are led to believe that the Lostaways are trapped in a time warp, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Adam and Eve are introduced in this episode.

In other news I bought a new TV for my new pad. I don’t really need the 1080p but it’s the one that looked the best to me in the store.
